It is important to protect your investment so that your extensions will bring you joy for years
to come. Below are our recommendations for caring for your tresses.

Shampoo and Condition weekly:  We prefer Tresseme’s Moisture Rich Line or any moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.  Always shampoo the hair by stroking in a downward motion, never agitate or massage.

Denman or Vent Brush:  Never brush curly hair while dry, always make sure your hair is properly saturated before brushing.  Always start brushing from the ends and work your way up.  This will minimize tangling and shedding,

Products: We always recommend a wash, condition and air dry.  If you must use products we suggest the following but remember too much product will weigh down the hair and can alter the natural look and performance of your extensions.

  • Heat protectant for styling with heat.
  • Combination of Cantu leave in conditioner and Garnier Sleek and Shine frizz ease serum for your defined curly or wavy styles with a soft hold.
  • Nairobi foam or an alcohol free mousse if you must use mousse
  • Diffuser for your blow dryer to define and hold those curls
  • Light serum for shine like Biosilk or a generic brand

Maintaining your Curls and Coils:

  • Curly hair requires a lot of maintenance!  The key to keeping those curls popping is moisture and hydration.
  • Use our Continuous Spray bottle to thoroughly saturate your extensions and brush with a denman brush or vent brush starting from the ends working your way upwards.  You can use pure water or a water/conditioner combo.
  • Apply a little frizz ease serum only if you are worried about frizz.
  • And if you absolutely must have some mousse use an alcohol free product.  Alcohol can dehydrate and cause damage to your tresses.
  • Plop your curls by scrunching your extensions in an upward motion.
  • Let air dry or use a diffuser
